The first Realm Makers conference begins in St. Louis, Miss.

Already I’ve been able to meet many online-only colleagues in person. That is somehow refreshing, and adds legitimacy to this little “cause” of advocating Christian speculative fiction. Blogging and websites can only go so far. The “fantasy” must become reality.

This morning’s keynote speaker is Marcher Lord Press founder and editor Jeff Gerke.

He’ll be followed by fantasy novelist L.B. Graham, speaking about worldviews, and Andrew Winch, speaking about flash fiction.

Follow photos from the conference by friending Speculative Faith on Facebook.

Update:

I’m also live-Tweeting the event, @SpecFaith. Hashtag #realmmakers.
